We can’t believe that it has already been two years since we launched RepairTech commercially. So far, we’ve been psyched for the opportunity to build our business, help technicians become even more awesome than they already were, and continue on our mission to create the best repair software in the industry.

We couldn’t have gotten to this point without the help we’ve received over the years. We’d like to give a huge shoutout to our friends, families, the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, our mentors and advisors, and all the technicians who have supported our work along the way. Thanks to everyone for being there for us on our journey!

New Malware Tool: The Registry Investigator

For this release, we’ve got a brand new malware tool called the Registry Investigator, which was created in partnership with Ken Dwight, The Virus Doctor. After imbibing an amount of coffee that could be considered medically questionable, the infallible Garrett Milster was able to get the Registry Investigator finished and added to this release.

Fixes:
– Config Syncing now saves your Malware Automation settings
– new Welcome page for first time users
– small bug fixes

Config Sharing

Now you can share all your favorite presets, custom apps, and settings with all the technicians in your shop, all on TechPortal. Check out the TechWARU Configuration page to learn more. Here’s a video that shows how Config Sharing works:

New TechUSB Reports

We’ve updated the look and feel of TechUSB’s reports to follow suit with the recent redesign of TechPortal and the reports for TechWARU. They’re cleaner, quicker to scan, and much easier on the eyes for your clients (and you of course).
